Hello, my name is Joushua Blount, and I'm a graduate student at the University of Alabama. I'm originally from Cleveland, Ohio, and I received my bachelor's degree in Media Communication from the University of Toledo. I want to work in the news industry because I love connecting with people in my community. I want to set an example for the younger generation of minorities who want to become sports and news reporters. Sometimes, it takes someone to see another regular person living out their dream to gain motivation. Hopefully, I can be enough motivation for that young male or female to believe in themselves.
